is really a jazz musician. he just uses electronic equipment to make jazz music. i think you could say this largely about all experimental music in the u.s. it all has it's roots in jazz. anyway, carl craig is amazing. if you've never heard his music enjoy.

yes it's retrospect. yes it's so trendy right now, but i love synthesized music, and this guy is really good at it. this whole group of people have some really cool stuff going down
